Scholarships, Sponors & donations
As the Booster Organization to the Eastern Marching Vikings, it is the job of the EVBA to support the Eastern Marching Vikings programs in every way, so that they enjoy a successful year. But we don't do this alone - the support of individuals and the community are critical to achieving these goals each year. So, when you donate your time, your resources, or your financial support - it is appreciated more than you know.
Because the school board budget does not fully meet every need of the band seasons, the EVBA uses raised funds to run the annual summer band camp, provide or maintain equipment, instruments, props, and uniforms, feed the band members, and most importantly - to ensure that every student who wants to participate in the Eastern Marching Vikings programs can do so regardless of financial status.
Over 70% of the funds needed to operate the Band program on a yearly basis come directly from our fundraising and sponsorship efforts.
Your contribution will help us keep the Eastern Marching Vikings band programs strong, active, and thriving!
We are also very proud to be able to sustain two scholarship programs through your continued support: the Sunshine Fund and the Senior Scholarships
Sunshine Fund: Certain funds from the operating account of the Organization shall be made available to offset membership fees and other expenses as may be deemed necessary for students whose parents or legal guardians are unable to cover the cost of participation of the student in the Marching Band, Color Guard, Indoor Drumline, or Indoor Color Guard.
Senior Scholarship Program: Seniors who participated in the Marching Band, Color Guard, Indoor Drumline, or Indoor Color Guard during their senior year are eligible to apply for a Marching Vikings senior scholarship award. Interested seniors are required to complete the Application and submit an essay. The final winner(s) of the Eastern Marching Vikings Senior Scholarships are announced at the annual Band Banquet.

All of the support that we provide to the Eastern Marching Vikings for equipment, accessories, uniforms, scholarships and other operational support - is only possible because of the generosity of parents, families, alumni, and friends. Donations to the Eastern Marching Vikings programs are made through our non-profit organization the Eastern Viking Band Aides, Inc. (EVBA).
Anyone can help support the Eastern Marching Vikings programs by making a tax-deductible donation to the Eastern Marching Vikings - as an individual/family/alumni gift or a gift in honor or memory of someone. No matter the size, each and every donation is appreciated very much!
Donations can be made using cash, check or credit card. We use a 3rd party site (Square) for our donation portal. By clicking on the "Make a Donation" button you will be redirected to this site.

The Eastern Viking Band Aides is a public charity under the 501(c) 3 code and many corporations include our type of organization in their matching gifts programs (Corporate matching gifts are a type of philanthropy in which companies financially match donations that their employees make to nonprofit organizations. When an employee makes a donation, the employee will request the matching gift from their employer - who then makes their own donation to that nonprofit.)
